Sonia&Paul

Me and Sonia were just standing at the balcony of our bungalow in Tasmania, enjoying a fantastic view of Apollo Bay and Bruny Island. A place made to inspire.

For some time I had been racking my brain about what we are going to do and which direction to take our future. However, Sonia was always one step ahead of me. She had many gifts but she also didn’t mind being led by others.

What happened next on that balcony was that despite of all those different roads out there to choose from, we both had exactly the same idea and at the same time, “to start producing beauty products”. The idea was even greater as the products would not just relate to the beauty aspect but also to help the whole person.

I can not recall who said it first, but it doesn’t matter now. The excitement from this realisation still gives me shivers even today.

Our methods can be hard work but if your heart is in your work you do it with joy. Our enthusiasm and desire to help is built into our products so that customers can share in our passion for pure herbal cosmetics.

Sonia left us in January 2015 after a short illness…

She was one of the most precious people I could have ever known. She was everything to me, a wife, a friend, a colleague in our business, a precious guide through life. People in her company could feel exceptional freedom and liberty, and they were attracted to her naturally.

Twenty years ago Sonia experienced clinical death and from the other side she brought herself back a gift. She had to understand it at first to be able to transform it into a help for people.

Since her return everything was different. Anything she touched she could see through and to know it in depth. She could answer almost all of our questions. She could see into us and knew us more than we knew ourselves.

Sonia was like a comet. We didn’t even have time to realise how she came into our lives. With her bright light she lit up our roads until as if she had determined that it was her time and left.

To our earthly opinion she left too early and the place was left empty. We miss her beautiful smile and her pure joy from life. What she has left us is a message to learn to respect the existence of something higher that over-reaches our desires and needs.

The period of time that followed after she left was undoubtedly one of the hardest one. So much emptiness...

However, we started to slowly realise that the Achimille was still here. Achimille is part of Sonia’s legacy, it was part of her passion for helping others.

We started to understand that this is her message for us, not an emptiness but quite the opposite, that the Achimille was our bond. This bond will keep us joined together forever and it is up to us whether we continue with it or not in order to improve this gift.

There are some of her unique recipes in Achimille which were a ‘gift’ to her after her ‘return’ all those years ago. Sonia taught me to prepare Achimille by adding precisely measured ingredients which include some less visible, yet more important ingredients in ‘joy, love and energy’. Sonia’s heritage comes in this message through Achimille which will continue to live on with us.
